Overview
Our first cruise to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we are pleased to have picked a holiday, and this ship. We met some great people on board, in fact nearly everyone was so friendly. If anyone is thinking of celebrating, we did our renewal of vows, then DO IT - It was a fabulous experience.

Public Areas
Public area's were spacious and always clean. However, I can see that on days with poor conditions outside seating and space inside would be at a premium.

Food and Service
The food in the main restaurant was excellent, service was always prompt and attentive, our waiters soon got to know our preferences. Drinks prices were very reasonable, pub prices for beers, spirits a little cheaper and wine from #9 + per bottle, in fact P&O are the only cruise line we found who publish their prices !

Cabins
We booked a mini suite for our anniversary cruise, it was spacious with good facilities. The cabin steward was brilliant, in fact on times we returned to the cabin to pick up something we forgot we thought he must have a spy hole somewhere to see when we left as our cabin was ALWAYS clean and tidy, even if we were only out of it for a few minutes

Entertainment
Mostly the entertainment was of good quality, some of the cabaret was not to our liking but we went most nights. The theatre shows were excellent, on par with anywhere else for the limited resources and space. our cruise had a particularly good comedian who the passengers liked immensely.

Activities
We spent a lot of the time by the pool , even though crowded and you needed to be friendly as the sun loungers were all together we never once did not get a space in sun or shade as we required.

Who Goes
Generally a mixed bunch of mostly British passengers, from retired persons, to our middle aged group of couples / families, to younger couples with families and older teenagers with parents. We met some really nice people and seemed to have had a good chat with most people, a really sociable bunch of passengers.
