Itinerary: Caribbean

Overview
If you like a laid back sailing cruise to beautiful islands and enjoy a good party go for it. Their is drinking on this ship. I don't drink and I have never had a bad time, dancing and romancing. You have to be type A personality and if your not you should be by the end of your cruise. Just do it

Public Areas
This is a 248 ft sailing ship, yes it has motors too. The hottest spot on the ship is any place you want it to be, you make your own adventure.

Food and Service
The crew and captain are the best. The food is not from a luxury hotel or cruise line but it is Great, lots of fruit. Lunch and dinner on deck or in the saloon, who cares your on vacation. Meals in the saloon, dining area they have two seatings and you don't need to get dressed up, shorts and shirt required. The Captains dinner, HA, it's cool the captain is in shorts too.

Cabins
OK here it is the cabins are a little tight but very comfortable. You don't need to bring a lot of stuff, shorts, shirts, socks maybe. This is a barefoot cruise, that means no shoes required, forget the heels bring Tevas.

Entertainment
This is the best part. the entertainment is usually a local group of musicians or dancers. The crew help with the entertainment too, they are great people. Dance, Dance, Dance and Dance some more and if you feel like singing go ahead no one cares. Crab races and other games that if you are a little shy sit and watch, if you are offended by people having fun forget it. NO stuffed shirts or prudes.

Activities
Well Windjammers goes to a lot of Islands in the Caribbean I have been on almost all of them so the only thing I can say is every Island has it's own special places, you can make you own and thats the best part.

Who Goes
The people on a WindJammers cruise are a Type A personality, the court jester is there and so are mom and dad and they are having a great time too. The age range is 18 to 80 and Jr. Jammers program in the summer is a good thing for the kiddies. I was on a cruise with the Jr Jammers and had a great time fishing with them.
