Itinerary: Mediterranean
The holiday of a lifetime, everything ran without a hitch. Both food and service 5 star. We would definitely consider booking again. However, was slightly disappointed that the Destiny had not been refurbished as promised.
The Oklahoma Lounge was nice and airy, however the Can Can Lounge could definitely do with a refurbish. Standard average, although we were slightly disappointed that the Destiny had not been refurbished as promised. Pools were of a good side, but quite cold.
Food and service excellent, couldn't be faulted. Five star standard. The main restaurant service very good and waiters couldn't do enough for you. The midnight buffet was out of this world, we had never seen anything like it. However, the Lido on deck could definitely do with being upgraded.
Our cabin was quite small but adequate, and all requests i.e. single beds made into a double etc. had been fulfilled. Cabins made up twice a day, and on deck 4 nice and quiet. Also plenty of closet space and coat hangers.
Shows of good standard and band excellent.
We went on the Destiny's Mediterranean Renaissance cruise and the itinerary and day trips were excellent.
Quite few elderly passengers but also a lot of our own age late 40's.
