Great cruise on a great ship. The tss stella solaris is an old but very well maintained ship with some characteristics which are difficult to find to younger ones.
Very big public spaces with great decoration, high ceilings. The perfect spot was the solaris bar located aft of solaris deck. There is probably the best walk -around promenade (teak wood).
The service was excellent and the crew from the captain to the cabin steward was brilliant. The food was nice too but the buffets on the deck were not so good because of the weather.
The closet space was great.The shower in the DA category cabin is small. The level of the noise was very low.
Rich entertainment with musicians, singers, dancers and a nice magician.
A lot of activities aboard and very nice but expensive shore excursions. The ports were: Piraeus, Iraklio, Santorini, Rhodes, Patmos, Kusadasi, Instanbul, Mykonos. The "daphne spa" was fully equipped and it has very good programmes. There was not babysitting available.
The people who prefer Stella Solaris are repeat passengers who like "real" ships and culture rich destinations.
