This was a last minute booking. I had seen her next to our ship (first cruise) the Song of America in 7/98-she looked attractive. Decided to book her after a colleague told me I looked tired after a difficult summer with two ill parents. Booked on a Tuesday for a Friday Labour Day Sailing-got a suite.

Beautiful-wood paneled walls, gorgeous spaces!Dining room beautiful-but I like old ships!Room was great-though small bathroom-surprising-though our room use to be a first class lounge!

Best room steward ever-we were out for only 15 minutes and the room was made up. Tipped him above guidelines.

Quiet though rocky-we were in the front of the ship at the top. Shower adequate-gym was horrible.

Saw one comedy act-urban oriented. Band was at least a coherent group-not the prepackaged stuff we experienced on Carnival two years later.
