Overview
This ship was beautiful and very classy. We loved the large displays of artwork & the overall decorating & design throughout was breathtaking.

Public Areas
We had no problem finding our way around this ship. Our room was beyond our greatest expectations, bright, a very nice size, private balcony, very comfortable bed, quiet, cute & comfortable bathroom with nice hot shower & plenty of storage. We really enjoyed breakfast at the Windjammers buffet. Everything was so beautifully displayed and tasted so fresh & delicious. Also had everything you could possibly want & more. I loved the fresh Belgium Waffles with fresh whipped cream and strawberries. The service we received was outstanding the whole trip.

Portifello's Italian Restaurant was superb. The 24 hour Promenage restaurant was fun & cozy. Their fresh sandwiches, hot pizza, fresh coffee, cookies & deserts were always delicious, plentiful. Everything was the right temperature and tasted like it came fresh from the bakery. The ice cream/yogurt bar was great for a late night snack even if we were absolutely stuffed most of the time. You can't stay away from their spectacular food. (Who said the food was lacking, must have been crazy) NO WAY!!!!

We loved the Solarium pool the best & no kids!!! Very relaxing. We liked all the lounges, special live music was great too. The best room was our private deck at 5:00 or 6:00 am in the morning.

Food and Service
The food & service were outstanding. The 3-story main dining area is breathtaking! The $$$ chandelier is gorgeous and just my style. The chairs are rich beautiful colors and velvet. Starched linens, glasses that are always kept full and constant pampering by our hosts was beyond belief. We were so spoiled!! Were we on another planet??? No, this was really happening to us!!! Dreamy, dreamy, dreamy days and sumptuous nights.

Cabins
Our room was perfect & was located right off the library and close to everything. We'd choose it again. I'm a very full figured middle aged woman & had no problem with the shower, it was great!! Wonderful, first class all the way. The private deck is well worth the extra price. We enjoyed the view from our private deck when at port. We could watch all the activities on the water and land.

Our thermostat control in the room was great & actually worked very well. We had full control of the rooms temperature. Very quiet also.

Entertainment
The Ice Skating & LaScalla Theatre shows were all great & just the right length in time. We laughed so much, the comedians were very good. We enjoyed the live music at the pool, High Notes and Champagne bar. There is just not enough time to see everything, so we must go on this same ship again in the future.

Activities
We enjoyed Labedee, very relaxing. Jamaica's Dunn's River Falls was beautiful. We went to Stingray City, which was amazing, we want to do this again. Snorkeling for the first time was really nice in the Cayman Islands. Mayan Ruins were quit outstanding also. Just wish we'd had about one week at every location. Our weather was perfect. We enjoyed seeing the islands from a distance, as our ship approached. We knew we weren't in Kansas anymore!

Who Goes
We went in October, to avoid kids and it was perfect for us. There were lots of people of all ages and about 250 married couples on their honeymoons. There was a wide diversity of ages and people from all around the world. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with Royal Caribbean and how organized they are with working with so many guests. We always felt very safe and taken care of. The employees were always very helpful and went out of their way to answer our questions, etc. The ratio of employees and guests was perfect. We had invited another couple to go with us, so we did not visit as much with others, this trip. Email me if I can answer any of your questions. plbairow@mwis.net
