Overview
Great experience! Was able to meet not only other Americans but made friends with many europeans. Attentive crew made trip that much more memorable. I am planning another trip with RCCL in Europe.

Public Areas
Spacious public rooms. We never had a problem finding a deck chair by the pool at high noon. I loved the 2 story windows in the dining room, no matter where you sat, you had a view. And a grand dining room at that. The centrium at eleven stories, makes the Princess Cruises three story atrium look miniscule. Breathtaking at first sight.

Food and Service
Only one main dining room, the other was a buffet only type restaurant. With 1200 passengers, I was surprised the food didn't have that "institutionalized" appearance and taste. Our waiter went out of his way to prepare a side dish of rice for my wife who was craving a dish from home. He prepared it exactly as we asked. No one else had it, so I knew he made it specially for us.

Cabins
We had a superior outside deluxe, complete with balcony. My prior experience was with a ship built in 1957. This room was bigger than my hotel room in London, no joke. I felt so at home in this cabin. Nothing like waking up in the morning with the French Riviera right outside your balcony.

Entertainment
Definitely the best. Had something for everyone. Acrobatic acts, comics, musicians, singers, and the Celebrity guest stars, Charo and a popular European violinist. Definitely able to immerse oneself into the European culture on board an American ship.

Activities
Barcelona, Villefranche, Civitavecchia, Sicily, and Malta. Plenty of excursions to choose from, all touching as many highlights as you wanted or as little.

Who Goes
Most Definitely. Never actually sat down and spoke to a stranger from a different country. I realized that everything was the same in their country. Learning experience.
