Overview
Getting on and off - outstanding. Accommodations - small but clean and well kept. Public areas - clean and well maintained. Food - very good quality and choice in dining room; basic cafeteria fare in the buffet restaurant. Service - dining service second to none; room attendant was unseen, but effective. Ports of call - Nassau is a dirty little city, but Coco Cay, RCI's island, is worth the trip in itself. Bars and Lounges - Pretty good, with good service and OK entertainment. Value - for price we paid, we still can't believe what we got in return.

Public Areas
Nice design. The Viking Crown Lounge on the 14th deck is a beautiful place. We particularly enjoyed having a cocktail there when we pulled out of Port Canaveral - spectacular. It's too bad the entertainment up there during the cruise is somewhat mediocre. Who wants to hear Karaoke on a cruise? Not us. Pool area is nice, but fairly crowded. Too many passengers saving pool chairs early in the AM. The disco is nice, and the house band is very good.

Food and Service
Food was restaurant quality in the Kismet dining room, with several choices each meal. Service was outstanding - I can't think of a single complaint about the service. Well, maybe taking 2 hours to eat dinner is a bit too long. The Windjammer buffet restaurant was OK, very convenient, and the lines were reasonable.

Cabins
Very small cabins, but we thought the size was ideal for two people who didn't spend much time in their cabin. Shower was small, but my 200# body fit OK in it. Very clean and functional. The closet was large enough, but we didn't bring any formal clothes, so we didn't need much closet space (after all, isn't the formal night a ridiculous thought? I'm on vacation in Florida and I'm going to bring a suit? I don't think so).

Entertainment
Shows were OK, but I'm not much for shows. We did enjoy the comedian (believe it or not, his "clean" act was far funnier than his "dirty" adult act. House band in the disco is great, but they don't play very much.

Activities
Sail and Snorkel tour in Nassau was pretty good.

Who Goes
Our table mates were two couples quite a bit younger than us (I'm 51 - my girlfriend is 46). But we enjoyed their company, and despite the LONG dinners (2hours), we all seemed to converse easily.
