I think it's the ideal vacation. Plenty to do, plenty of leisure, nice people, excellent facilities and crew. Beyond a doubt the most relaxing and rejuvenating vacation I've ever had.

I was impressed with the cleanliness. Everything was always spotless and in order. The public areas were wonderful -- always a chair to sit on, either at the pool or on deck.

The food! My gosh. It's like I'd heard. The dining room was wonderful with exceptional service, quality of food and service-oriented waiters. We loved the Windjammer cafe for lunch and breakfast. They have the best rolls on the planet earth. The waiter started bringing us 4 desserts of his choice every night to go with whatever we had ordered.

The storage space was absolutely amazing. Yes, plenty and we packed a lot. I was an enrichment lecturer on the cruise and had to have outfits for that as well as the other stuff. Got them dry cleaned too, and that went off well -- got them back in time for my presentation. We had drawers left empty. Nice to have hair dryer. Sockets for cell phone charger. The best thing is the safe. Why don't hotels have that? They thought of everything. Quiet, clean, just perfect. They have the most delightful odor, too. Loved the shampoo dispenser in the shower.

Cruise staff and entertainers were excellent. A very friendly, yet professional staff. A lovely family-friendly show by the 5th Dimension. I enjoyed the psychic coach's lectures extremely and so did everyone else -- Nancy Fenn.
Key West, Cozumel, Grand Caymans. Great! I got my hair braided in Cozumel and it was heavenly to sit there for an hour ($50US) with a breeze, listening to mariachis and have my hair done. Of course there was plenty to buy. The solarium health club is spectacular. You wouldn't believe the decor. All Egyptian and full of all these health symbol. Hot dogs and french fries available there 24/7 - oh, and pizza. Got my nails done; superb job. The ship is just breathtakingly beautiful and I so loved the "spit and polish" and the "tight ship" - clean, orderly and organized. I enjoyed reading and sitting by the pool and watching the funny games. And eating and watching the sunrise and sunset. Pool is salt water; hot tubs, fresh water. Nice that kids weren't allowed in the solarium, and I bless the staff member who enforced it.
Just a wide-ranged group. A 3 week old infant up to 90 y.o., I'd say. Singles, married couples, families. Everyone was very friendly and nice and happy. Very wheelchair-accessible ship. I'd say the median age was 30. I'd say 90% were Texans, as we set sail from Galveston. GO RCI!!!
