Overview
My experience as my first cruise was wonderful, not just because of being the first time but I really felt transported to a relaxing place since I had been ill and recently had a mayor operation. It was really great not to feel like an invalid and be able to walk around st. Thomas and st.Marteen, which I loved very much. I went on the cruise with friends but I truly want to return on a 4 night cruise only with my husband, who wasn't able to go this time. I would prefer April, 2001 on his birthday.

Public Areas
All public areas, specially the pool are great. The "strike up the band" and high society" lounges were the best. I am not very fond of gambling so I only visited the casino for a little while on the first night. The "carrousel" lounge was also one of the places I visited often. The on board shopping was also very nice.

Food and Service
I had my breakfast and lunch in the "windjammer cafe" and my dinners were in the "carmen dining room". The food was excellent and the waiters were great. Give my sincere regards to arturo from turkey and oliver from france, they were the best waiters ever.

Cabins
At first I thought the cabin was small for all four of us but then looking a it after we got accommodated and that all we were going to be doing in it was take showers, change clothes and sleep I think it is quite right.

Entertainment
I went to see 2 shows at the "strike up the band" lounge and 2 at the "high society" lounge. I highly recommend that you keep on your itinerary the latin performances, specially the adults only spanish comedian (sorry I can't remember his name, all I know is that he is mexican).

Activities
all activities on board were just fine. We stopped at St. Thomas and St. Marteen. My only recommendation is that the water in the pool should be a little warmer. The whirlpool was great. My friend had her daughter in the child care facility and the attention was so good that the little girl asked her mother to take her to child care since early in the morning but it was not not available until 1:00pm. All in all it was a great trip.

Who Goes
We met a few people but they were from mexico and we are from puerto rico. But our group was of 20 friends so basically we were always all together.
