Itinerary: Canada/New England

We cruise from Quebec city Canada to Fort Lauderdale. This was a repositioning for the ship. We sail on the Sanguinary river and it was wonderful. We made a stop in Corner Brook Newfoundland
. There not a lot to see and do there. We made another stop in Boston. It was to short to see many things but the weather was beautiful.

The ship was very clean. There a lot of place to seat and relax. A lot of lounges and the waiters don't harass you if you don't want a drink. We walk a lot on the promenade deck situated on the fifth level. There are another promenade deck situated on the 11 level but it was too windy. The outside pools where not open until the fourth day when we where in Boston. We use the inside pool and whirlpools. We went to the casino but I do not play.

The food was good. The service in the dining room where excellent. In the Windjammer cafeteria, the food where in abundance and diversified. The dessert where great. We where more than 900 French speaking person on board. Because of that,we where out of the French and Italian wines after two days.

We had an ocean view cabin. The space was ok for two persons, a lot of space for our things. The mattress was not to comfortable. RCI should think of replace them. The shower was just good for one person at a time. The cabin was very quiet.

The entertainment in the theater was very good. The singers and dancers where fabulous The cruise director was very good to entertain us.
We cruise with my wife two sisters and husband. So on board we do a lot of walking, talking, relaxing around the pools, go to show. We did not take shore trip offered by the cruise line. We organise our shore trip ourselves at low cost. In Corner Brook we take a taxi van to do the Captain's Cook Trail. (110$ for 6). In Boston we take a shuttle to go to the Market place and back (10$/per.)
For my wife and I it was our first cruise and we love it.
