Itinerary: Caribbean - Southern

Overview
This is an exceptional ship and I highly recommend to anyone to take a voyage on any one of the eagle class vessels.. I am already booking another one! You never run out things to do. There are always quiet spots to hide.

You never realize there are over 3000 people on board (except if you are waiting in line for formal pics)

Public Areas
The royal promenade and the lobbies are gorgeous! So many lounges and clubs. I still hadn't seen the whole ship after 7 days! Pool decks real busy on sea days. The solarium very quiet and restful. Casino a lot of fun!

Food and Service
The service in the main dining room we found to be a little lacking. Very slow. Windjammer food was ok.. Cafeteria style and I found much of the food to be cold. Midnight buffet definitely should not be missed! Buffet's on deck overcrowded and lines too long. Portofino's excellent. Johnny Rockets a hoot and a half!

Cabins
I found the cabins and storage space to be exceptional. The shower was very roomy as well. We were in an ocean view on deck 2 and were concerned about noise. (It was very quite except when the stabilizers were deployed which was not very often.)

Entertainment
Shows were terrific. Comedian hilarious. Ice show not to be missed! Cruise staff was a lot of fun. Would like to see better headliners.

Activities
There is so much to do it is hard to write everything down. San Juan where the ship embarked from I thought was a little dirty and I probably won't go back there unless it's to leave on a ship. Ports of call were excellent.

Aruba is a great island with plenty to do! Off road jeep tour was a blast. At night we had a nice peaceful walk down the boardwalk behind hotel row. Beautiful!

Curacao is not so busy but a good day to relax or shop. St. Maarten has the best excursions in my opinion.. America's cup sailing awesome! Stay away from the Rhino Rider Adventure.

St Thomas -- go over to St Johns it is stunning! Health club and spa aboard ship were both very clean and well appointed.

Who Goes
We met many nice people on board who were intent as us on enjoying their vacations. The wait staff on board are fascinating folks. Strike a conversation with any one of them whenever possible. Although there are rude people no matter where you go.. I found that the majority were Puerto Rican folks They cut in lines everywhere, stealing seats at the shows, pushing people aside at the elevators and being loud in the hallways late at night.
