Itinerary: Alaska-Inside Passage
The Dawn Princess was an excellent ship for my first cruise. The mini-suite that I had was wonderful and it had a lot of room but I will warn people not to overtake to many clothes as the closet is very small.
The public areas were wonderful. I esp. liked the library overlooking the sea.
As I am allergic to shell fish the staff on the ship went above and beyond seeing that I did not order the wrong thing and our wonderful waiters Benji and Noell saw to our every need.
The bathrooms were huge. Very large marble and glass walk in shower and the tubs were so deep that I felt like a 4 year old sitting in it.
I did go to a few shows but I found them geared towards the older clients. That was the only thing I found lacking.
All of the offshore trips were great. I esp. liked the white water rafting around the Mendenhall Glacier
Typical Alaska cruise, mostly Americans ranging from 20 to 60.
