Itinerary: South Pacific

Overview
As this was my 1st time on a cruise i had absolutely no idea what i was in for. I'll let you all know now that this was the best 7 days and nights of my life. I'd like to thank all the staff that took care of us, our stewards and dinner waiters. You guys make the cruise that extra special. Really sorry for not being able to tip you guys. We ran out of candy! Sorry!

Public Areas
There are a number of bars, lounges, decks etc to suit everyone and every mood. Really the only thing i wasn't to keen on were the pools. They were probably a bit to small and covered for my liking if you know what i mean. Anyway the atmosphere on the boat was great. People were very relaxed and kind and everyone's just there to have a great time.

Food and Service
Awesome. Chinese, Mexican, Mediterranean (i know that isn't spelt right) cant think of the rest but it was tops. Umm.. yeh constant delicious food and fast, polite funny staff.

Cabins
We had the cheapest 4 berth cabin so what can i say. It was worth it. A closet for everyone, nice bathroom and without a porthole it was dark enough for me and the boys to kip for 6 in the morning till about 4 in the afternoon.

Entertainment
We didn't catch any shows as we were smashing allot of booze usually on the deck. Others say the shows were great especially ones with audience participation. The band was great playing jams such as cold chisel's Khe Sahn leaving Sydney harbour to... sorry i cant remember but they could play any song you request. As for the nightclub under the stars... I think it opened at 11 pm and finished like 5 or something. First to go and last to leave. DJ was mixing it up from hip-hop and rnb to techno and a bit of rock. Dance floor was pumping an chemistry was rising. I'll also add at this stage that the Pacific Sky was renamed the Loooove Boat. Hahaha. So much action onboard. Definitely worth to take some decent kits to impress.

Activities
The only activities we got up to were eating, drinking, sleeping and bust out moves on the dance floor. But there were allot of things we could have done. We went to the Isle of Pines and got sunburnt but it was worth it. the sand was so soft and the water crystal clear. My mate Kelto and I dragged ourselves out of bed to take a walk in Noumea, the other 2 were half dead. Just be cautious walking around town as i don't think the government have made a set of road rules and regulations yet. There are allot of tours on noumea but we spent all our money on beers and tequilas the night before.

Who Goes
For a start my mates and i are all 19. We met allot of people our age or similar. We met middle aged couples at breakfast elderly ladies at lunch and a wild bunch of old boys at the sports bar. Everyone we met were very friendly and like us had one thing in mind (other than girls) was having an awesome time. I think thats all i have to say...Kelto, Quinny, Lefty and myself will be going back for sure probably same time next yr. Join us. C ya!
