I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone. It is the most fun holiday I have ever been on. At the time i was 14 so I could have gone in the teen group. some of the activities were fun but mostly i just ran amok with the friends i met there. you could do as much or as little as you felt like. i liked it so much that i am going on it as a kind of schoolies/finished school celebration next year.

The ship had many bars, but i could not go into them really because i was not 18... the lounges were a good place to just sit and chill and we could go into the starlight lounge to dance or just meet people but only until a certain time because then they started serving alcohol so they kicked us out... damn. the walk around promenade deck was great! it was especially good to look at the views or to lay on a deck chair. promenade deck had shops, duty free stores and a little store to buy bits and pieces u might have forgotten also some souvenirs. the pools were a good size too... there were 3 all together but one specially for the little kids. i spent a lot of time in the pools and the spa... the gym was also good too and so was the running track.

The food was great! There are two restaurants, Regency or Savoy you chose to eat at either the first or second sitting before you board and it says your table number an restaurant on your cruise card (kinda like a key card). for breakfast and lunch you could either have the buffet on promenade deck or go eat in the restaurant. i always ate in the restaurant for breakfast because i woke up late and by the time i went out for the buffet the line was too long. i think you could also ask for a continental breakfast in your cabin. if you did not want to try any of those things you could always go to the 24 hours pizzeria. which is only about $6 for a pizza which could feed about 4 people... very popular!

We had a cabin on Caribe deck. it was an outside one with a big window. It was quite comfortable and spacious. there was plenty of storage space. when i first stepped in i thought i was going to be totally claustrophobic in the bathroom but it was pretty good once i got used to it. i think anyone else would say it was fine. it was pretty noisy too. there was a tv and music selection, but the hair dryer was pretty bad. (its ok the hairdresser is right down the hall)

i went to all but one of the shows. they were pretty good, everyone else seemed to love them but i thought they were a bit corny. the music entertainers in the lounges were good and they knew almost every song you could name. the only bad thing was in the starlight lounge where the "teen" disco was... sometimes the music was a bit... uh.. lame... outdated. but mostly it was fine. the talent night was funny and the hypnotist was great.
i thought the activities were fun... well most. i did join in most things. However some people chose to relax and not join in. because i was only 14 they mostly wanted us to join in the teen activities. they had like a mini olympics and stuff like that which was good for a laugh. they also activities for everyone like deck twister and karaoke. there were lots of games and fun basically. for the younger ages they have groups too, and even special ones for really little kids. they always seem to have fun. my brother who was 11 was always with his group and it kept them occupied at night too. there were so many 11 year old boys that they had their own club. There was a movie theatre that showed many recent releases too. the pool as i said before was great and it also had games like volley ball etc. there is a gym and health spa kinda place with massages and a spa and jacuzzi. basically you can do as much or as little as you like. and if u want lots of action and to meet new people you will never be bored. there is always something to do.
Well the age did vary... but there were a lot of families and young people. there was also a small percentage of older people but they were kind of outnumbered. i still keep in touch with friends that i met on Pacific sky... and i can't wait to go again.
