Itinerary: Caribbean - Eastern

Overview
I loved the Sky and her crew. Ship is beautiful. Crew is friendly and helpful.

Public Areas
The five story Atrium is beautiful. I usually walked laps on the promenade deck - has jogging and walking paths. Liked having breakfast in the Great Outdoor Cafe (aft)and drinks in the Observatory Lounge (forward). Both are on deck 11.

Food and Service
Assigned to the Four Seasons Dining Room. Food and service were wonderful. Usually had dinner in the Four Seasons and lunch in the Seven Seas Dining Room. Food and service was so good that I did not try any of the alternative dining restaurants.

Cabins
Had an AA cabin (with balcony) on the Fjord Deck. Definitely small. Very little drawer space; but adequate closet space. Bathroom/shower is compact, but efficient. Full size person will fit - but with no room to spare. Very quiet. Balcony is small - has small table and two chairs. Not enough room for a lounge chair. Anyone wanted a roomy cabin on the Sky should book a suite. We had three people in our cabin - two adults and one child. Space was okay for us, but would be inadequate for three adults.

Entertainment
Enjoyed the broadway style productions by the Jean Ann Ryan company. Vocalist, Jane L Powell, is outstanding. Magic show as okay. Really enjoyed the crew - friendly and helpful. Particularly liked our room stewart, waiter and bus boy.

Activities
Ports of call were Nassau, San Juan and St Thomas. Only did shore excursion on St Thomas. A tip - if you do the Best of St Thomas tour, there is no need to also do the tram ride - you will already have seen the view. In Nassau and San Juan - walked around on our own. Friends who used pool liked it. Good services in spa. Health club was open 24 hours, which was great. I could get up really early and use the club when no one was looking! My six year old granddaughter really enjoyed the Kid's Club - she was always excited to go.

Who Goes
Went with group that included a variety of ages - younger people partied around the pool and in the lounges until late, late night. Older ones participated in activities like bingo. there was something for everyone.
