Our cruise was very nice. The food was just ok as I have been on one other Norwegian ship and thought the food there was better (Norwegian Sea). The ship was very clean and the crew was very friendly. The rooms are a bit small, especially for larger than normal people. The Kids Crew staff were a 10.

The public areas were excellent. I especially liked the Royal Observation Lounge where each night they did Karaoke. As is with most ships the drinks were rather pricey but were very good. There are two pools and both are small but never seemed to be crowded. The Promenade deck requires 4 laps to complete one mile and gets windy as you make your way around the front of the ship. I thought the Casino was very fair as three members of my family all came away winners as well as other passengers as I witnessed.

Here is where I give poor marks. The variety of food they gave was not so good you like a lot of sea food, which I don't. Thank God for the 24 hour Piazza San Marco on deck 10 where you can get a burger, hot dog, french fries and pizza. Those were always good. Also, on nights were they did have excellent steak, there was no problem getting two of them.

The cabin my wife and I and our six year old daughter were in was an S1 suite. It had a full bath with a tub, a walk in closet, a sofa, and two chairs. There was also a floor to ceiling bay window in the sitting area. My problem was with the rest of my family. My 26 years old son and his girl friend were in a room that I thought was a little bigger than my closet. My mother in law, her sister and their friend were suppose to share one cabin. But it was so small we invited my mother in law to join us in our cabin to sleep on the sofa bed with my daughter. She felt comfortable in the room but not with having to invade our privacy. Except for the suites I don't know how anyone of size can stay in the other cabins.

The staff and entertainers were excellent. They kept everyone in my party happy. They seem to have entertainment for both the young and old
We were in Bermuda for three + days and it was wonderful. We did parasailing, snorkeling, a helmut dive and rented scooters to tour the island. There is Kid's Corner(free) which ran from 8-10 pm and after that you can have group child care from 10-1am at $8.00/hour. We used this service twice until 11:30 and it was great.
The other passenger were a mixed bunch age wise but the majority were from the Boston area as the ship depart from Boston. But it was nice to talk with a few people who traveled from other parts of the country to take this cruise.
