Itinerary: Europe

Overview
My husband and I just came back from a 4 day cruise on the MS Perla to the Greek Islands. Contrary to previous reviews, we were very pleased with the ship. Our cabin was small but very adequate, clean and well taken care of by the staff. Dockings at the various islands we visited were quick and well managed. We have no adverse comments.

Public Areas
The pool was small but fine. We didn't visit the casino but I saw other people making use of it. The public areas were clean and comfortable. Many deck chairs were provided out side the indoor areas for sun bathing, eating, and socializing.

Food and Service
The food was great! A nice buffet was provided on the Beach Deck for all 3 meals or you could go to the Dining Room for an excellent 4 or 5 course menu at lunch and dinner. An excellent breakfast was available as a buffet in the Dining Room. The service was terrific and we liked the idea that we could order as little or as much as we wanted on the menu. Everything was served very promptly.

Cabins
Our cabin was fine. Good closet and drawer space. The shower was small but a full size person could fit in it very well. The water was always hot. Our cabin was quiet.

Entertainment
We went to a show each night. The same performers were in each show but the shows had a lot of variety in them with different themes each night. The performers were quite talented.

Activities
The ship did have a small gym and play area for children. The ports we stopped at were Mykonos, Kusadasi and Ephesus, Patmos, Rhodes and Philerimos, Crete, Santorini and back to Athens.

Who Goes
Our fellow passengers were fine. We were part of a tour group so, for the most part, we stayed with our group for socializing.
