Date of Trip: October 3, 2004
Itinerary: Mediterranean

Overview
The cruise was great. all the parts who complete a wonderful cruise experience was excellent : the service, the food, the ship, the entertainment and the itineraries. I was surprised how efficiently thing has been done and always with a smile!

Public Areas
The Calypso is a 12,000 grt vessel, yet she have plenty of public rooms to chose from : the festival lounge, is the ship's show lounge, the plaza lounge with its beautiful atrium overlooked by the shopping arcade, the nautical look captain's club, a spacious casino, the tropical lounge, which is excellent for afternoon tea and a useful bistro. the calypso have a tiny swimming pool which is more like a dip pool but surrounded by charming, beautiful sun terraces. the ships also have a teak wood wrap around promenade and lots of deck spaces.

The calypso also have a small spa, high atop the ship which contain a gym overlooking the sea, which offer a spectacular view. In general the Calypso have facilities that are typical to much bigger ships.

Food and Service
The food was not bad with an extremely wide selection which serve in a buffet. The choice including large variety of meats, salads and great soups, but the focus is more on quantity rather than quality. The service was just perfect and always come with a smile : from the waitresses to the reception clerks and even the plumber !

Cabins
The standards are more like big and fancy ship standards and include a tv, radio, hair drayer, safe in all categories. you better take the A category because it offer a fully new and better staterooms which offer large room sitting table and more and in the cheapest price !

Entertainment
The entertainment was great and offer every evening a new show plus famous israeli guest artists shows and comedy shows midnight movie and daily bingo games was offered too.

Activities
The itinerary was Greece, Turkey and Cyprus with long stay on every of the interesting ports.

Who Goes
The public is mainly Israelis, because the ship is in charter to "Caspi Cruises" till November.
