This was our first ever cruise and we were not disappointed.
There were a lot of complaints about this ship after the maiden voyage, but we found it almost perfect. The only thing i could fault really was the breakfast. It was the same every day and was not very good quality, probably due to the high numbers they have to produce though. The entertainment was first class and all the staff were polite and helpful and worked really hard.

I liked the little lounge area on the top deck in the beachcomber, where you could sit quietly if you wanted and it was a good sun trap.I do not have any complaints about the public areas although the public toilets were out of order quite a bit.You can walk around the top deck, but getting a sun bed is quite hard as everyone wants one and there are not enough for everyone.the pool was ok but we never used it.The casino was adequate as far as I know because I have never been in one before. My other half spent a lot of time in there however!!

The service was excellent in all three of the dining rooms.
The beachcomber on the top deck was good for a midnight snack and a casual meal when you felt like it, however we found that sometimes the food was not very hot.

Our cabin was bright and modern and had a lovely big window which we did not expect. There was plenty of space for us, we did not spent much time in it anyway. The bathroom was small but adequate. The maid came in twice a day and left us with clean towels, turned our beds down at night and gave us fresh ice.

Top stuff!! Really i was amazed at the shows we saw. Quite a small stage but crammed with talent. The entertainers also worked in the day too mixing with the guests which was quite nice. There were game shows too and bingo for those who like it.Also they had a murder mystery thing going all week.
Our first stop was Tunis. I advise people against going ashore here as you will be well ripped off by the taxi drivers that take you to the town and then insist on taking on a guided tour (by foot) mainly around shops and market stalls which are obviously owned by people they know . we saw other couples being dragged around the same shops by other drivers.BEWARE.Really dodgey place!Go on the coach excursion set up by the cruise if you must .

All the passengers were just ordinary people, not posh toffs like you would expect on a cruise, and they were of all ages. They were decent enough to invite home although we did not get to know anyone that well that id want to.
