Itinerary: Australia

Overview
The highest level of service and comfort with passengers mostly German, Austrian and Swiss. All the crew is multi-lingual. Somewhat formal ambience. Entertainment includes chamber music and opera singers as well as the usual dance acts, singers etc

Public Areas
Breathtaking foyer with glass elevator. Lots of blonde wood, sleek, modern, understated. Pool outdoors that has a roof that opens. No casino. Very high ceilings in public areas including the main dining room impart a feeling on grandeur and luxury.

Food and Service
Food is continental/German-oriented. Wine list is extensive. Assigned seating throughout the cruise. Each table has its waiter, assistant waiter, and wine steward. Formal at dinner and lunch in main dining room. Silver service, covered dishes, cooking at table side. Dishes on request that do not appear on menu--or things you like. They cook our favorite foods which they have noted in their computer system!

Cabins
Very comfortable spacious suite with walk-in closet totally outfitted, personal safe, shower stall and separate tub. Outdoor lanai with lounge chairs and table. Best feature is PERSONAL EMAIL AND COMPUTER in each suite!!! Can only send/rec. e-mails. To surf internet, must use computers in the library. Nonetheless, this is tremendous, to have such a convenience! Very quiet--hear no noise from other suites or corridor.

Entertainment
Entertainers are a "B". However, the emphasis is more on classical music and singers (opera/soprano/tenors) who are very good.

Activities
There is a well-equipped gym, spa, driving range set-up, crafts, pool etc. Many lectures on local history, botany, lifestyle etc.

Who Goes
Highly educated Europeans, professors, MDs, and CEOs. Conservative, very polite, reserved, informed. Yes, I would love to have them in my home as guests.
