Overview
The staff lies. my boyfriend became ill on second day. The medical staff asked me a lot of questions when I just asked for an imodium for him. Asked if we should be concerned by all the questions they said no. 5 hours later they quarantined us, shut down pools and hot tubs. We wanted to leave early they said they booked a flight out of St Thomas for us. When we got to the airport we had no flight waiting. The guest relations supervisor lied. The Holland America staff left us sick, dehydrated and stranded ...without a care.

Public Areas
Public rooms were spacious (from what we saw) pool was shut down and passengers had to wear rubber gloves in casino.

Food and Service
1st night I had soup, salad, appetizer, and seafood entree. I was still hungry after this ... the seafood entree was 4 shrimp...Not to mention my boyfriend wanted a broth soup because he wasn't feeling well. They said no ... It was on the 24 hour menu but can't be served during sit down. Not experience I had on other cruises.

Cabins
Cabin's closet space was fine fit most of the clothes. But when quarantined for 3 days, room service taking hours to come.... it gets smaller by the second.

Entertainment
Did not attend entertainment but other passengers the first night said they liked the show.

Activities
Went to a bingo game. The activities crew were pleasant and humorous. We only stopped at there private island .. the fishing excursion was nice. The excursions manager was amazing. He in our experience should be the example that the rest of the crew should follow. The island itself had broken toilet paper holders. This meant toilet paper on floor. With no bathroom attendants and overflowing toilets from a disease they were hiding from everyone....meant wet gloppy toilet paper on floor.

Who Goes
We only had one dinner with our table mates .. but they were nice. I would have definitely wanted to keep in touch if we finished out the week and was able to have more interaction with them.
