Itinerary: European Rivers
Of the five barge cruises I've taken, this was by far the best! The accommodations were excellent; the cabins attractive, with plenty of storage space. Cuisine/ wines were first rate; chef provided superb meals. The crew was professional and pampered the passengers; filled all requests. Highly recommend the trip.
The salon and dining area were comfortable; the sun deck was a pleasant place to relax, and enjoy al fresco lunches.
Dining was consistently enjoyable. The presentation of the wines/cheeses was informative and added to the enjoyment of the meals. Our chef was talented and innovative; his presentation was most attractive.
Quiet and restful. The crew maintained the cabins/bath very well; fresh flowers were an added touch in the cabins, public area, as well as on deck!

Daily trips to local sights along the route. Travelled by van. Opportunity to walk or bike between locks. Childcare not an issue, as these are adults only trips.
A most congenial group of passengers; "young seniors." There was much laughter and shared interests. I'd be happy to see them again.
