If you like Disney, you will love this ship. If you hate Disney, don't go. The New 7 day cruise to St Maartin, St Thomas and Disney's Castaway Cay was incredible. Great Food, Shows and Atmosphere all with a Disney flair.

Disney does a great job of hiding the behind the scenes things that make the ship run. Everywhere you look, someone is polishing or cleaning something. You will run into Kids in all of the public areas except those set aside as Adult only. There is a larger percentage of kids on this boat compared to some other cruise lines.

The food was not exactly cooked to order but it was still excellent if not just a little too high brow for my family's tastes. You can tell by the speed in which the courses are delivered that the kitchen is also typical Disney mass quantity yet acceptable quality. Everywhere you look, someone is cleaning up after you even up on deck.

We had 3 adults and 1 child in an Inside cabin and though it was small, we spent very little time inside. The closet space was perfect and the bathroom was fine. My kid loved the loud 125 MPH vacuum suction toilet. The steward made different animals from bath towels each nite. You never had to ask for anything twice.

Most of the BIG entertainment was Disney oriented but done in fantastic disney fashion. The Disney theater's Magic show and "Who want's to be a Mouseketeer" show (Millionaire type show) was fun. The performers were near broadway level and very professional. Great first run disney movies. Thank goodness, No casino
Again, My 9 yr old did not want to spend much time with us. Oceaneers club and a pager made a big difference in our comfort level. St Maartin and St. Thomas were OK. Go on an excursion instead of going to the downtown shopping area. Disney's Castaway Cay was the highlight of the trip. The Banana boat ride and Snorkeling are a must do.
We were hoping for a private family table at dinner and were glad to get one. Most of the tables are small so that only parties of 2 are seated with others. Breakfast and lunch you are sat with others and pretty much just casual conversation. Most families keep to themselves and kids.
