Itinerary: Caribbean

Overview
Great experience for those traveling with children or grandchildren. Disney has successfully transferred their knowledge and experience to the cruise experience. The ship was in perfect condition, the service was excellent, the food was outstanding and the services provided for the kids was well structured and well executed.

Public Areas
Many areas set aside for adults only. The family areas provide lots of options. Never a feeling of being crowded.

Food and Service
Had meals in all three dining rooms as well as the buffet. Food quality and presentation definitely exceeded expectations. Ice cream (soft serve), pizza, hot dogs and burgers were good too. My daughter and here husband had dinner at Palo's, said it was their best dining experience, ever, anywhere.

Cabins
Cabins are well laid out and very functional, especially the split bathrooms (sink & toilet in one area, sink and tub/shower in another). We had an outside cabin with a large (3ft +) porthole. Plenty of room.

Entertainment
All of the entertainment was excellent, even the adult entertainment was in good taste (and still funny). Theater for movies is a real theater.

Activities
Activities on board are varied, well executed and well attended. Western Caribbean itinerary was an excellent balance of shore time and days at sea. Castaway Cay was the best of the "private" islands I've visited on any cruise, great facilities, plenty of space, easy off.on the "docked" ship (no tenders). We had young children with us (6 & 7 years old) as well as a teenager, all of them had a great time with on board activities.

Who Goes
Mostly parents and children or grandparents with children and grandchildren (family reunions?). As always, a few obnoxious people (saving seats in the show room, when asked not to), but on the whole, friendly and fun to be with.
