Itinerary: Mediterranean

We had a fabulous cruise from Rome to Athens--Including stops in Taormina, Corfu, Venice, Mykonos, Santorini, Ephesus, and Athens. We adore Crystal and trust them to provide us with the best service, food, guides and itineraries, etc. We love some days at sea as well--the ship has lots of activities and great lecturers.

The public areas are so well planned--never seem crowded even when the ship is full. We love the Palm Court because it is beautiful and peaceful even when the Manila Diamonds (wonderful band) are playing. The pool area is great and the walk around promenade is a grand spot for walking off the calories!

The food and service could not be better. We had some special requests for dishes which they provided and even offered suggestions for others. The escargot is to die for!We also love the Jade Garden, however, the food everywhere on the ship is terrific.

We like balcony cabins on the 8th level. They are a comfortable size--bathrooms are well planned with tubs as well as a shower. We have been on other ships with extremely small showers that make these seem large.

The shows are extremely good and the costumes extraordinary. There is always something for everyone in addition to the musicals there usually is a comedian, classical pianist, etc.
We have become quite interested in the lectures. We also exercise (Mostly walking), but the spa is also very nice. My husband gets massages sometimes. The ports were wonderful--I mentioned them earlier. Don't know much about the child care situation--not applicable to us at this point. Actually, we like Crystal because there are not lots of young children running about.
We have always met several people aboard that we really like--still keep in touch with some. We certainly would invite many over for dinner!
