Overview
I think most people would really enjoy this cruise. My husband had no interest what so ever in going and he was real happy he decided to accompany me. The service is some of the best I have ever encountered considering the large number of passengers.

Public Areas
We enjoyed the casualness of the whole cruise even in the dining rooms, the only stipulation was no shorts during the dinner hour. Many people wore blue jeans or khakis for dinner with the exception of the two "dress up nights". I don't believe we found any area that we disliked on the boat. The promenade was very nice. We didn't use the pool as they were salt water pools which I don't really care for.

Food and Service
Overall the food presentation and quality was good. The dining room service was excellent. Believe me you will not go hungry on this cruise. We didn't indulge in any buffets as we always ate far too much during the day!

Cabins
Our cabin was good and the shower was great! Always plenty of hot water. We really didn't spend much time in our cabin other than to sleep. Loads of space and we have absolutely no complaint about noise. This was our first cruise and if I were to go on this cruise again I would book a lower category of cabin and save some money.

Entertainment
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of entertainment. We really were no expecting the level of performance that we were treated to.

Activities
The one thing that my husband and I were both dissatisfied with were the shore excursions. They were unexciting and overpriced. I would recommend forgoing the available excursions and doing your own exploring. As well, there is a demonstration for snorkeling followed by a deal to rent snorkeling gear. Make sure you read all the shore excursion details before you rent the gear because most excursions already include your snorkeling gear.

Who Goes
It seems that everyone travels with Carnival, it is a great family type ship. We met some very nice people on the ship who we do intend upon staying in contact with, perhaps even to cruise together again!!
