A great non-smoking cruise experience. The cabins are comfortable and well appointed. The only negative was that the staff seems to be spread a little thin and not able to provide the service we had on other lines.
The public areas were neat and well cared for. The Mormandy lounge has many supports throughout the room and it was difficult to find an unobstructed view. The bar waiters in the pool area could be a little rude after being told no a few times. Not at you personally, but they would mutter about someone else as they walked away. rather off putting when the waiters are snarling.
The service in the main dining room us not as good as we have had previously. The wait staff didn't learn our names or fill our requests with out repeating them. We ordered wine and never received it. Ordered after dinner drinks and did not get them. We ended up dining on the Lido deck and receiving much better service.
The cabin was a good size, we had an outside cabin on the Empress Desk, amidship. We felt no vibrations and did not hear the engines. The bathroom was well sized. There could have been more drawers and less shelves, but there was enough space to hang our clothes.
The entertainment was excellent, four shows on a seven day cruise. The performers were good and there seemed to be something for everyone.
The Gym was well appointed and the equipment seemed to be in good repair. I did not have to wait for a treadmill or a bike. The running track was excellent and well used.
: We went with a group so didn't interact with too many other passengers. But those who we did interact with were cordial and easy to get along with.
