Overview
Beautiful older ship. I will always remember this cruise as a special one. The public areas were beautiful and inviting. The bus stop was especially a wonderful area. We had a wonderful time. The newer ships of Carnival are more elaborate in size but the Holiday still has a richness and elegance about her that is missing in the newer ships.

Public Areas
Great casino and the dining room was beautiful. The pools were lovely and the disco the best. It was a special ship and we met many new friends. The service was fantastic.

Food and Service
The food was great and the service the best. The midnight buffet was glorious. I especially loved the room service and the breakfasts eaten while rolling across the ocean. We had a beautiful picture window view of the ocean and it was a breathtaking sight.

Cabins
The cabin was much larger than I had thought it would be. Plenty of hot water and all the amenities of home or a great hotel. Plenty of room in the shower and quite and restful. It was a beautiful and elegant older vessel.

Entertainment
The lounge shows were all Las Vegas quality and the entertainers very talented and beautiful. The captain of the ship at that time was so cute and had the best personality. He interacted with the passengers as much as he could. We had a great time.

Activities
The outside days at the pool were so fun. There were daily ice carvings and pool parties. The drinks were spectacular. There were uncountable things arranged to do as far as parties and games to play and exciting ports of call to visit.

Who Goes
We met some wonderful new friends. One couple we met actually came through our city at a later time and stopped by for a visit in our hometown. We were on this cruise a week and that is enough time to get very fond of people. I still think of these folks and wonder where they are and how they are doing. We have loads of pictures taken on that " holiday" cruise and I still get them out and remember those happy times we all had together.
