Itinerary: Mexico - Eastern

Overview
This was by far the best vacation my husband and I have ever experienced. The ship is beautiful, and very elegant. The staff were ever helpful, and made our trip very enjoyable. We were already planning on saving money for the next cruise, and would definitely choose Carnival again.

Public Areas
We found the ship extremely clean, and very livable. We enjoyed walking around the track, using the gym, and just lounging out on the deck in the sun. There was music if you wanted to have something to listen to, or there were plenty of decks where you could have quiet also. The casino was another hot-spot for us.

Food and Service
We dined in the formal dining room every day for every meal. Our waiter, Horace, was especially efficient. The food was WONDERFUL!. We were able to sample many types of food we had not previously tried. Very nice. Again, very elegant.

Cabins
Our cabin was perfect for us. We were in U82, and there was plenty of room. Again, the service was excellent. Our room was very clean, and very comfortable.

Entertainment
We attended a few of the shows, but usually by the time dinner was over ( we had the late seating), we were pretty tired. What we saw was good. The staff seem to really enjoy their jobs, and that makes it enjoyable for us.

Activities
We stopped at Puerto Valarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. We enjoyed Cabo the very most. Very pretty place, and only wished we could spend a little more time there. We took a glass bottom boat out to lover's island, and it was beautiful. On board the ship, we read and relaxed. We did spend some time in the gym, and also in the casino. We went and listened to music in the many clubs aboard, and enjoyed all of them.

Who Goes
The people we met on the ship seemed very friendly also. Our table at dinner was very congenial. We felt comfortable at once.
