Itinerary: Caribbean - Western
The ship is just beautiful and many things to do aboard. We enjoyed the fact that we did not have to go to the dining room to eat dinner. We had alternatives. We are not in to dressing formal often and on this cruise we did not have to. If you never been on a cruise then you should definitely try the Carnival Cruise Lines for the first cruise. It is truly the Fun Ship cruise.
The public areas were ok. We did not have any special room except the casino and had fun there loosing our money. We did enjoy the open lido deck. We really enjoyed the piano bar lounge area. Not sure exactly where it was located. It was on the main deck.
The Lido deck had great food. Inside Grand buffet room was very good. We enjoyed the 24 hour pizza.
Overall the cabin was ok. Big enough for both of us. We tried not to spend a lot of time in the cabin.
The staff and entertainers were great. Very friendly and helpful and party people.
We took tours on shore as well as off and did snorkeling for the first time. We stopped at all ports on that particular cruise. Did some shopping and site seeing.
We really never got to know anyone that well to invite to our home after the cruise. We did meet some very nice and fun loving people and had a good time with all. At first we felt foolish for getting lost trying to find our cabin but we ran into a lot of other people that were lost in doing the same thing. That was funny.
