The Carnival cruise lines has always been known for having the "fun and wild parties." But Carnival is more than that, they have majestic ships and outstanding crews. Carnival should always be the first to consider when taking a cruise.

The pool area is great, and big. The size of the 3 pool areas is perfect for the amount of passengers aboard. The thing with this ship is that it is stunningly decorated. It is influenced by the French culture and Art can be found all throughout the vessel. In one word to describe the ship: Wonderful! The promenade is the perfect place for people watching and relaxing.

As always, the crew will go to extreme lengths to satisfy their guests. Passengers walk on board with high expectations, and the crew hold up to it. The food and cuisine is also delicious. Carnival also takes care to have great chefs on the high seas, and that is really noticed.

Balcony staterooms have wonderful views. Of all the cabins, 80% have ocean views, and of those, 80% are balconies. If you are going to cruise this ship, the best way is in a balcony. I have travelled in inside staterooms, window staterooms, and balconies. I will possibly never travel again without a view of the ocean, and a balcony. A balcony is the way to go! You won't regret it.

The original Carnival Cruise Line's shows are great. They are "original" and unique. There are, I believe, 3 Vegas-style shows on the 7 day cruise. Whatever you do, don't miss the Carnival shows at all. They're worth the time!
The itinerary is as follows: 1st day: New Orleans departure, 2nd day: "Fun day at sea", 3rd day: "Fun day at sea", 4th day: Montego Bay, Jamaica, 5th day: Grand Cayman, 6th day: Cozumel, Mexico, 7th day: "Fun day at sea". Excellent itinerary if you ask me. Jamaica is perfect for shopping at the port. Grand Cayman is great for snorkeling. Cozumel is good at the beaches and snorkeling. And of course, Carnival hold up to its record of having the most fun onboard activities. Plenty to do, or nothing to do. =)
The passengers should range from adventure-going seekers, to family vacationers. Ages 1-120 years old would absolutely love it. Camp Carnival is an excellent program for kids with trained professionals. Whether you are going to seek death-defying stunts, or having a family reunion onboard, or want a week out with the girls (or guys), this is perfect for everyone. This was the best cruise that I have taken out of 4 cruises. I assure that fun awaits onboard the funniest cruise ship on the 7 seas, the Carnival Conquest.
