Overview
I would highly recommend this ship and cruise to everyone. It was a great experience. Once on board they treat you like royalty from the cabin attendant to the Matri'd. The Ship was spotless, the staff was always cleaning up and making sure you were comfortable. We were a little leary about our first cruise but Horizon made it a pleasant and exciting time. Thank you all very much!!

Public Areas
There wasn't a place on the ship that made you feel uncomfortable, all the public areas were well lit and plenty of places to sit and lounge around, no pressure to do anything you didn't want to do. You could just sit and read, talk or do absolutly nothing. The pool was excellant and the pool butlers were right there if you needed them,Mr Lozada, the bar waiter couldn't have been more attentive, always there asking if you need anything, great guy, the CASINO, what can I say, It was a treat, not for me mind you, I'm very unlucky in that area, although I did donate a few dollars to the cause, my Wife however, couldn't wait to get to the slots and play, and play she did and complained while we were in port that she couldn't play, she kept saying, "there's nobody watching, why can't they open up" she did realize what the Laws were after I explained the trouble it could cause the ship. She did manage to bring a few dollars home with her, your money that is, not much, but enough to make her happy that she had won something, of course she wouldn't give me any hers since I lost some of mine. That wa my loss not hers.

Food and Service
The Food and Service were EXCELLANT and I truly mean that. So much food and great service, waiters everywhere, at your beckon call, they couldn't do enough for you. The Starlight Dining Room, I must say was my favorite. The food was delicious and so well presented and prepared. The waiters we had and the asst waiter were the best,Mr Iyer and Mr Zavalla were like family by the time were returned to port, and the Asst Matri'd Ms. McLean was the best, friendly and funny and very informative, our Grandchildren feel in Love with her, she has a great personality, a neccisity for her job.

Cabins
The cabin was clean and roomy, the bed was comfortable and the bathrrom was big enough and the shower was great, I wish I had one at home like it. It was not noisy at all and always plenty of towels and accessories.

Entertainment
We attended all but one show and they all were great, from the entertainment director to the Comic to the broadway shows, the singers, the dancers, just marvelous. I would rate them all as EXCELLANT.....no doubt.

Activities
We stopped in St. George and did a shore excurison the first day we were there and that was great, first time I have ever snorkled, it was truly an experience I'll never forget and my wife and my Son and His wife and our two grandchildren had a great time too. Our second stop was In Hamilton where we went on two excurisons which was new to us also, snorkling again, now I'm a pro at it, kyacking and swimming. A bleu water safari where we went to a ship wreck and fed the fish and then to a private cove and swam and marveled at the rock formations and caves and the fact that there were no sea shells, whick our tour guide explained why there were no shells because of the coral reefs.

Who Goes
The passengers that we met I would surely invite for dinner along with the crew. They made it very pleasant. Some very friendly people not what's like in the newspapers these days, verybody looking to have a great time and just relax. We did meet some people that we knew but haven't seen for a while, which i found quite interesting and as the daying goes, it is a small world after all.
