Itinerary: Alaska-Inside Passage

Overview
The cruise itinerary was good.Cruising is something we usually enjoy, this one however was disappointing.

Public Areas
The lounge areas were quite good. We especially enjoyed the one on the 12th floor in the front, sorry, I don't remember the name.

Food and Service
Here is where we think it really lost points. The food itself was not as good as we had expected. We had steak that was tough, Pork that was tough, Lobster tail that was like rubber and barely warm, and our friend found a hair on her plate when she was half way thru hew steak. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate the food on this cruise a 4

The service was even worse. Our waiter gave us the impression that he would rather be anywhere else than where he was. Most of the time we did not even get a "GOOD Morning just a menu shoved at us. 1-10 he gets a 2

Cabins
The cabin was fine. We do not usually spend too much time there and it was OK as far as the size went. The furnishings however were on the shabby side. Stains on the sofa. The cabin staff was outstanding. The young lady's name is Patricia but I don't know what the young man's name is.

Entertainment
The cruise staff were very friendly and helpful but the entertainment was very amateurish. I have seen better at my daughter and granddaughters dancing school shows. They tried and gave it their best but again not what we have come to expect on cruises. We have sailed with Celebrity before on the Horizon to Bermuda and it was great, lots of fun and people participation. We missed some of that this time even although I know it was a different type of cruise.

Activities
We stopped at Ketchikan, Sitka, Haines, Skagway. Don't know about the babysitting.Thought the commentary as we went along was a good idea and enjoyed that.

Who Goes
We asked for a table for either four or six and did not receive either one. The four of us that were travelling together sat together. Now even although we are good friends and we have been friends for many years we enjoy the company of others at the table. My husband and I have met many great people that we have stayed friends with on cruises over the years. We did however meet some very nice people during the day by the pool area and sitting in the lounges watching the views.
