Itinerary: Caribbean - Western

Overview
The Cruise was a 10 day Caribbean, our first cruise. We were very impressed with how the crew remembered our likes and dislikes after the first night. the crew was attentive to our needs. Very impressed overall, the Century is the oldest ship of Celebrity's fleet so its not one of the big mega liners.

Public Areas
One of our fave places was the Cova Bar (coffee bar) loved to sit there and watch people walk by. The pool area is small, and also would like to have been told the pool was a salt water pool. Casino filled up when the show was let out.

Food and Service
Food and Service was First rate in the main dinning room... We no Chocolate buffet which I was looking forward to (others have told me about this) but they had a GRAND buffet the second to the last night and WOW, the standard buffet were OK more bland then I would care for.

Cabins
We had a outside Cabin very impressed with the size and efficacy for them, The Cabin attendants were first rate.

Entertainment
The Ship Band 'Phoenix' was OK, at times I thought the music was too loud at the pool, ' hey I'm on vacation, I want to relax, not get blasted with party music'.'

Activities
We loved Costa Rica.. There was always something to do on the ship to keep you busy.

Who Goes
On this cruise the average age was 69, I'm 43.. I felt like I was a cruise with my parents. There were people who had elec wheel chairs, the ship isn't real big enough for them. For some reason when people from ( a state in the NorthEast) get to be older, they think they have the right to rude and pushy. I was totally amazed on how these people acted. I'm sure this isn't a typical cruise on Celebrity.
