Overview
The public areas in appearance were very tatty and in my opinion of near of refurbishing. Not many places to sit down, apart from the lounges.

Public Areas
The pool was not in use and we did not use the casino. There was a walk around promenade with many people on it when we set sail for Harwich, with many sun beds and a waiter did a demonstration of shaping ice into a swan.

Food and Service
The food was average. My children asked for something else other than was on the menu, and ended up with pizza and chips. It was very crowded in the restaurant and in the morning there was a long queue for the breakfast buffet. The waiters guided us to tables and we had to sit with six other people.

Cabins
My family and 1 were situated on A deck in an outside cabin for 4 people. We found the cabin to be very cramped when the top bunks were put down for the night and the noise from the propellers and engines was horrendous. We were glad that this was a one night taster cruise only.

Entertainment
My family and 1 spent the night in the My Fair Lady lounge, and it was mostly music played by a DJ and then at 10.45 p.m. Name that Tune was held until midnight when a comedian took over. It became very crowded and my husband and our children went back to the cabin at 11.00 p.m.

Activities
As we boarded the ship mid afternoon and as this was only a one night taster cruise, we had lunch on board about 4.15 p.m. and then had a wander around the boat, dinner at 7.00 p.m. and then we went to My Fair Lady Lounge afterwards. There was a show by the crew in the King and 1 Lounge, but we did not see it.

Who Goes
On this one night taster cruise there were a lot of young people, also middle aged people, but not many children. I think our two children were the youngest, being 10 and 14. The young ones of 20 etc were only there to get as drunk as they could, and I believe to them it was just a booze cruise.
