Overview
This is a great first cruise on a small ship. You get to see people you meet at meals frequently throughout the trip. The boat was extremely clean and the meals and service were great. Entertainment team was very good and everything was very well organized. Would take this trip again in a minute.

Public Areas
Lounges were nice and had comfortable furniture. Not always crowded except during some of the shows. We walked the promenade deck everyday for exercise. Pool was small but never crowded. Casino was also small and again never seemed to be crowded.

Food and Service
Great food and service. Waiters were well informed of the meals being served and often recommended certain entrees. Deck buffet was adequate with a good selection. Preferred to eat breakfast and lunch in the dining room and get served. Good selection from the menu.

Cabins
Our cabin was considered upgraded inside on the main deck. Basic room, lots of drawer and closet space. Bathroom was small and especially the shower. I'm 6'1", fairly slim and just fit. Anyone larger would have a hard time in the shower. This is one area ships could improve on.

Entertainment
Attended most of the shows in the main lounge and found it to be totally professional. Entertainers were great, mostly british and very polished. Stage and sets were a-1 as was the lighting. Would rate the staff and entertainers as top notch.

Activities
We were on the Panama pleasures cruise. Stopped at Porta Limon in Costa Rica, Colon in Panama, San Blas Islands and Cartegena in Colombia. Took a side trip in Costa Rica. Somewhat overrated for the cost but interesting. Pool and health club on board. There was a childrens club but not sure about babysitting. Lots of lounges for lying around the pool and upper decks. Never a shortage of places to lie down and suntan.

Who Goes
All ages from families with children to senior citizens. Mostly british and canadians. All the people we met were very nice and I would be happy to have any of them to my house for dinner. Everybody seemed to be totally relaxed and enjoying themselves on the cruise.
