Perfect for well doing middle aged couples. A good mix of Canadian, British, US and Continental European passengers.

The sun deck areas were the best I've seen on any ship, never too crowded, easy to find just what we wanted though the ship was well booked. Very easy ship to move around too. Everything was where one expects it to be.

The food was OK and the service both homely and considerate.

Well, ask her. Our cabin was small but still cosy. The cabins are on the small side on this otherwise excellent ship. No problems with shower though. After this cruise we never shared a cabin, the main reason being that I am a terrible snorer, or so she says.

We were always late for shows. When cruising Caribbean it is always on decks, bed or trips like to Pitons at Soufriere at St. Lucia or bargaining for linen at Curacao or enjoying the smooth surf at Isla Margarita, Venezuela. In Egypt it is relaxing in tombs of pharaohs. No kidding, the herd was following the guide and I took the advice of a smart Egyptian boy to take an hour rest with Ramses II. Open only for you as it was!

The main joy with cruises is the company onboard. I easily miss pyramids for a good discussion.

Yes, I would consider inviting some of my fellow passengers over for dinner but only some. After several cruises we have met again only two couples. One is from Greece and another from VA, USA. One reason being sharing interests on such unlikely things like steam locomotives.
