Itinerary: Mediterranean

Overview
It was my husbands 1st Cruise, he was not looking forward to it. Two weeks on the Sunbird has made him a Cruise Junkie. It was fabulous, Food Excellent, Ship Spotless, Cabin Steward Excellent. What a way to travel, great company, superb bars, groovy music, we loved it.

Public Areas
I loved the Can Can lounge, and the Casino, and the Clipper bar, lovely music, great singer. Neptunes we danced the night away. The Chart room, Panoramic views of the Ports, and the Oklahoma bar, perfect to chill out, so comfy. My husband loved the Casino, and we had a good time their.

Food and Service
The Seven Seas restaurant was out of this world, we had table 59, the lads were outstanding, better than Excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, in fact the whole galley staff were second to none. We were so impressed we could not have had such lovely food in the finest restaurants.

Cabins
The cabin was spotless, the steward who attended, was fantastic,we called him the flash, beds done when we were at breakfast, clean towels etc etc, Excellent. Cabin okay, we were on the Main deck 4030, it was a inside twin bed, always turned down and more ice in our bucket, please can we have him for our home. Fairly quiet. The shower was fine.

Entertainment
Very good, the shows etc. Peter Piper the comedian was Excellent, we laughed till we cried, all in all a great and varied scene. The lead Male singer a nice friendly lad, we had a good cruise staff.

Activities
We did the whole day at Rome, and Monaco and Monte Carlo. Messina, etc. We were very pleased with the tours.

We also went into Palma by Taxi and took part in the ships activities, carpet bowls, golf etc. If you are young plenty to do, if older relaxing and eating and chatting to the other cruisers.

Who Goes
Yes we met some lovely people and our dinner table guests at night were lovely. We are keeping in touch we are getting together next year for another Airtours cruise.

PLEASE note anyone viewing this, I am a early retired woman with no connection with Airtours, my fellow cruisers thought I was A Rep, I loved it so much.
