Cruising is fantastic - I have only read one totally biased and narrow minded review (Ben Sloan's Seawing review.. - what a bitter and twisted ....) the main feature of a cruise is the variety and quality of ports of call within the cruise. I have been on two previous Airtour cruises and have nothing but praise and admiration for the patience of the service staff on-board ( some of the purser's staff could benefit from a bit of customer satisfaction re-focussing).
They were spotless - the crew were always attending to the fabric of the ship
Food was excellent - my preference was to attend the restaurant for meals, avoided the hunt a table on the lido deck .....
Cabin not large - but al we really did was sleep/wash and change there, so it was adequate
Ship's dancers were very professional - and held together well - other than that - first week - comedian good - singer ......... second week comedian .............. singer excellent (reminded me of Shania Twain) - bingo - wot a rip off
Bingo wot a ripoff.
2003 - very mixed bunch - all ages ,,,,,,,,, 2004 seemed predominately over 55's ........... could have something to do with it being just before school holidays
