Overview
A very relaxed ship with first class entertainment and excellent food.Good ports of call, this was our first cruise and will not be the last. The staff was first class, Michael on the Lido Deck, Ramauns Bar Area, and all the waiters in the dining room, all looked after us with great care.Well done Carousel.

Public Areas
Comfortable public areas.Promenard Deck and pool areas had a very good atmosphere. The Lido Deck was excellent at breakfast and lunch with good service and plenty to eat and drink.Restaurant waiters was a joy to watch, always singing to us at special events. We had no problem with sun beds.

Food and Service
The two weeks we spent on board this ship was excellent, the Chief deserves FIVE STARS for all those wonderful Menus, the cuisines was superb.Good wine lists.Buffets on the pool deck was wonderfully presented,British and Continental Breakfast served by our smiling waiters was plentiful.

Cabins
Our cabin was on the Main Deck(outside)and it was better than we expected.Congratulations to our cabin steward,Bert, for looking after us so good, and also always smiling.Wardrobe had enough space for large suitcases.Barthroom small but comfortable, powerful showers. In the cabin we heard very little noise, slept well.

Entertainment
Excellent performances by the Carousel's entertainment staff.Wonderful singers and dancers in the Showboat Lounge. With "Singing Legends" "Stars in their Eyes"etc. The Comedians and guest singers gave first class performances, however, have to get there early for the best seats.Very very good entertainment.

Activities
So much to do for everyone, the children were all having fun away from their parents, well done to the staff. Our favourite itinerary was Barcelona,Malta,Palma,Monte Carlo,Rome,Florence and Corsica.I would give Bizerte a miss and stay on board and have a better time swimming, playing bingo and enjoying the quizzes, gym, sauna."Sundial"very good.

Who Goes
We met a very nice family from Essex and would like to say thanks to April, Amy, Georgie and Ken. Our fellow passengers, all from various countries, including America and Australia, everyone was simply wonderful, and that also goes to the Carousel.Well done,I am sure we will be on board again in the very near future,Simply the BEST.
