Overview
I had read some bad reviews about this ship and was a little apprehensive at what I would find. My fears were soon put to rest as everything was excellent. Great value for money with great food and ports of call.

Public Areas
Lido deck was refreshing and opened aired serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The main restaurant was run by group of very friendly waiters who often broke into song to celebrate a birthday of other special event.

The Showboat Lounge was always packed and you need to be there early prior to a show to get a good seat.

I like the Beer Cafe bar as it resembled a real bar and had a relaxed atmosphere about it

Food and Service
Food and service was good. There a special theme nights at the Midnight meals such as Tex Mex and Chinese.

The boat operates a cash free system and all transactions are on an ID card which your are issued with when you arrive and settle the bill prior to leaving.

All transactions are in Sterling which caught out a few US visitors who thought it was Dollars and the boat was very cheap!!

Cabins
We were upgraded for free to a cabin on 'A' Deck. The CAbin was just big enough but we spent so little time there it did not matter. I am 6ft5 and just fitted in to the shower so must normal sized people should be ok. We had very little noise in our cabin.

Entertainment
The ships Singing and Dance troupe try hard, however its like a very good school play in my view, however there were 3 other acts that were very good who appeared more than once.

Activities
Well we visited-Malta, Sicily, Naples, Sardinia and Corsica.

Most of the tours were well priced,£20 for half day and £40 for a full day.

I would give the trip in Corsica a miss as the boat berths right beside the town and you can do more on your own than with the trip and save some cash to!

Who Goes
All age groups were on the boat. There were Scottish, English, Welsh, Irish, Scandinavians, Canadians and some Yanks.

There was a good atmosphere upon the ship and my wife and I met a lot of nice people.
