Overview
A Lovely ship. For the budget holiday maker this ship will spoil you for a fraction of the price of a 5* line.

Public Areas
Of all the airtours ships the 'New' Sunbird is by far the largest. We never once felt uncomfortable in any of the public areas. The Can Can lounge where the Cabaret shows were is very spacious and comfortable.

Food and Service
For the price we paid for our cruise I was most impressed with that standard of the Food and the service. The midnight buffets were fantastic and better than some of the more expensive cruises we have been on in past years.

Cabins
Our cabin was smaller than I expected but was very clean and tidy. The on-suite was a little cramped but easy for the 2 of us to get ready with no real problems. The cabin steward was as usual superb.

Entertainment
The entertainment was very good. We were surprised to see The Krankies on a ship and wondered what they could to for Adults but were pleasantly surprised at how good they were. For us however Andy Rudge the comedian was the best we've ever seen on a cruise ship, my sides were hurting after his show all done with clean material. They also had a juggler who's name escapes me but was quite amusing. The Production shows were well received with Gallaria being the main show. I do feel that the team could benefit from a stronger vocalist but on the whole it was Great.

Activities
The shore excursions were the most disappointing thing about this trip. Very very expensive. We did our own thing in the end and saved a fortune by just using the local taxi's to take us. Tunisia was a complete let down and I don't understand why on earth these ships dock there. Even Ray Carr the Cruise Director made several jokes about the place as we we're leaving it

Who Goes
We made some lasting friendships on The Sunbird and still keep in contact with every one on out table.
