Overview
MSC Fantasia is scheduled to enter service in December of 2008. Greater in length than the height of the Eiffel Tower, MSC Fantasia offers countless vacation pleasures, such as the Aurea Spa wellbeing center with thermal cave for relaxation and rejuvenation. For the kids, a children’s play area includes a swimming pool with waterslide. And our Aqua Park features 150 illuminated musical fountains. A magnificent theater seats 1,700 with unique live entertainment each night, or catch a movie at the interactive 4-D cinema. You can also test your skills at our Formula 1 simulators or surf the net in a Wi-Fi zone.

Public Areas
Onboard you will discover a first in the fleet––the MSC Yacht Club––offering a privileged maritime experience with rich gleaming wood, Italian marble and illuminated Swarovski crystal stairs. The exclusive enclave includes a library, swimming pool and private lounge where a transparent ceiling allows guests to gaze at the starlit sky. The Yacht Club’s 99 spacious VIP suites offer comfortable luxury complete with butler service and concierge. Enjoy high tea served by your butler and sip a drink by the skydome pool or in the Yacht Club’s exclusive Observation Lounge with “captain’s views.”

The AUREA SPA is an authentic Balinese wellness center offering innovative treatments. Located on deck 14, it occupies 17,384 square feet divided into specific areas, including the Thalassotherapy Room, Thermal Area, Gymnasium and Relaxation Area. Each area has been designed to offer guests the best in wellbeing care all in a soothing setting in which guests are surrounded by precious mosaics in tones of bronze and gold, ornamental plants and scents of perfumed essential oils.

Dining
For dinner, choose from six main restaurants including El Sombrero Tex Mex with an open kitchen, a lovely French restaurant and a panoramic restaurant serving Italian regional specialties.

Cabins
80% of the staterooms are oceanview staterooms, with 107 suites. The staterooms will range from 193 to 700 square feet.

Who Goes
Your fellow passengers will be mostly Europeans of all ages. The atmosphere on board is lively and active with most passengers happy to party, swim in the sun, and explore the various ports. During summer and school holidays she attracts lots of families with lots of children.

Itinerary
When she embarks on her maiden voyage on December 20, 2008 she will begin her inaugural year round Mediterranean voyages.

The HEAVY WORD
Overall she provides a good quality product and the staff on board aim to please. She can feel a bit crowded when the weather turns bad but if you open to mixing with a variety of passengers and languages, she is a comfortable ship to sail on.
